Koboko Civil Society Network isa non-profit making indigenous Non-Governmental Organizationas an umbrella organization of Civil Society Organizations operating in Koboko district. Established in 2005 by then 14 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the organization’s membership has been increasing steadily over the years and currently KOCISONEThave over 50 members hence pointing to the increasing role of civil society Network in the District. KOCISONET is registered with the National NGO Bureau with registration number S.5914/6465 in 2006 and operates in the entire Koboko District.

It was created as a measure to unite the civil society organizations in the district and build their capacity to empower the citizens to enable them to actively participate and influence government programmes and policies in Koboko district.
